Happy Hump Day!!
We are half way through our week. Hopefully we all have been eating healthy, and sticking to our fitness goals.
Today we are going to talk about the squat. The squat is the basis of all movement, from picking up our children to sitting in a chair. No matter what we do, it almost always starts with a squat. That's why it's important to squat often in order to keep our ankles, knees, and back healthy. It also keeps our legs strong so they can continue to carry us from point A to point B. If we do not maintain mobility, and strength, as we age our squat will suffer. Sometimes we even have to relearn a movement that is completely natural to us. Use proper body mechanics and get that booty squatting!

“No citizen has a right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training…
what a disgrace it is for a man to grow old without ever
seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.” – Socrates
